This local trust operates within the civil parish of Clifford, West Yorkshire.
One of the objects of the charity is “to advance the education (including social and physical education and training) of young persons under the age of 25 who are resident in the parish of Clifford.” This could include financial support, irrespective of denomination, for such as the following:-
- educational items not provided by your (child’s) school e.g. residential visits, special equipment, uniform etc.
- specific additional costs encountered when going on training courses or to university e.g. transport, special equipment, course books etc.
- groups and organisations supporting the education (and/or experiences) of young persons
There are two other objects of the charity :
- to further the charitable work of the Methodist Church Division of Education.
- to further the charitable work of the Methodist Church with persons under the age of 25 who are resident in the parish of Clifford, including the provision of a junior church.
